💰 Pay range: [70k-75k] per yearSerac Inc. builds packaging machinery, including filling, capping and cup-filling systems, for customers around the world. We're looking for an early-career controls engineer who wants to own the electrical side of a machine from design through startup, rather than just maintaining one on a plant floor.

🔧 What You'll Do: Turn customer specifications into electrical designs, drawings and machine programsProgram PLCs and HMIs in Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 Build and manage the project BOM in PLM so purchasing demand is accurateTest machine programs and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), keeping drawings and documentation currentWork with the mechanical and operations teams on machine startup and site acceptance at customer sitesWork with our engineering headquarters in France to share designs, standards and best practices🎯 What You BringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 0-2 years in machine controls design. Co-op and internship experience countsPLC and HMI programming experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Studio 5000) Able to read and create electrical schematics and panel layouts in CAD (EPLAN P8 preferred) Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA and ANSI standards, plus a basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulicsStrong organization, prioritization and communication skills, with fluency in EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office➕ Nice to HaveHands-on Allen-Bradley ControlLogix / CompactLogix experienceExperience with QAD or SmarTeamFrench language skills✈️ Travel and Work EnvironmentOffice and climate-controlled shop floorDomestic and international travel, including overnight trips, for customer startups and trainingAble to lift up to 35 lbs and to bend, kneel and reach on the shop floor🌍 Why SeracOwn the full electrical design of a machine early in your careerSee your work run on the shop floor and at customer sitesWork with a global engineering team based in FranceSerac is unable to sponsor work visas for this position.📩 Interested?
