Warehouse Sanitation Lead - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Joliet, Illinois

Pay: $18.00 per hour

⏰Hours: 40+ hours per week

Position Type: Independent Contractor Language Requirement: Bilingual English & Spanish Available Shifts 2nd Shift:3:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. 3rd Shift:11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and experienced Bilingual Warehouse Sanitation Shift Leaderto help coordinate and support our contracted sanitation team at a warehouse facility in Joliet, Illinois. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. This is an important requirement for communicating with contracted associates, PR Facility Solutions management, and warehouse personnel. The Shift Leader is responsible for helping ensure assigned sanitation services are completed properly, safely, and according to site expectations. This individual will provide direction to contracted associates, monitor completion of assigned tasks, communicate concerns, and assist with sanitation services when needed.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate contracted sanitation associates during the assigned shift. Communicate assignments and instructions clearly inboth English and Spanish. Conduct regular walkthroughs to verify assigned sanitation services are being completed properly. Help ensure warehouse aisles, floors, docks, work areas, break areas, and other assigned locations meet sanitation expectations. Monitor the completion and quality of assigned sanitation tasks. Address and communicate incomplete work or sanitation concerns. Assist with the onboarding and training of new contracted associates. Communicate call-offs, staffing concerns, incidents, damages, safety concerns, and operational issues to management. Help coordinate coverage when additional sanitation support is required. Reinforce site safety requirements and proper use of PPE. Ensure sanitation equipment, machines, and supplies are being used appropriately. Assist with floor scrubbers and other sanitation equipment as needed. Respond to spills and other sanitation needs throughout the warehouse. Maintain clear communication with site leadership and PR Facility Solutions management. Complete required shift reports, sanitation checklists, and other documentation. Lead by example and assist with sanitation responsibilities when additional support is needed.

✅ Requirements: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be able to communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking individuals. Previous shift leader, sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or leadership experience preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to coordinate and provide direction to contracted associates. Proactive, dependable, and responsible. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and communicate concerns appropriately. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate warehouse sanitation equipment. Reliable transportation. Availability to provide services during the assigned shift and additional hours when needed.
