Apply for this role →General Production Line WorkerThe General Production Line Worker performs a variety of duties to ensure products are packaged according to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Remove products that do not meet quality standards
- Report defects or discrepancies immediately
- Assist with setting up, cleaning, and taking down production equipment
- Label lids and boxes correctly
- Fill, seal, band, and package products according to specifications
- Box and palletize products for storage and transportation
- Transport finished products to designated coolers and maintain logs
- Follow all food safety and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Work Environment
- Exposure to cold temperatures for extended periods
- Loud machinery; ear protection required
- Hair nets, frocks, and non-slip shoes/boots required
- Food allergens may be present including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous production or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
