Fractional COO / Business Advisor — Independent Contractor Build a Recurring Advisory Portfolio Powered by BravaBrava is building a new kind of business advisory model. We combine continuous business intelligence with experienced human Advisors to help leadership understand what is really happening across their company, what deserves attention, and what to do next. We are looking for experienced operators, Fractional COOs, business consultants, and executive advisors who want to build and manage their own portfolio of Brava clients. This is not a traditional salaried consulting role. This is an independent contractor opportunity for professionals who are comfortable developing business relationships, winning clients, advising leadership teams, and building recurring income from the companies they support. What Is Brava? Brava reveals the underlying dynamics shaping a business, giving leadership what it needs to know, what needs attention, and what to do next. Rather than relying only on occasional leadership meetings, surveys, spreadsheets, or management reports, Brava helps continuously surface signals across the organization. Brava gives Advisors visibility into areas such as: Leadership and management execution Company and department priorities Employee and manager signals Accountability and follow-through Daily and weekly business movement Performance trends Recurring friction and emerging concerns Evaluations and organizational patterns Areas that may require leadership attention The technology handles much of the monitoring and intelligence. The Advisor brings judgment, experience, context, accountability, and executive guidance. The Brava Advisor RoleAs a Brava Advisor, you will develop your own portfolio of companies and remain involved as their ongoing business Advisor. Your role has two major components: Business Development You will identify and develop relationships with companies that could benefit from Brava. This may include: Your existing professional network Founder and CEO relationships Referral partnerships Local business relationships Direct outreach Professional networking Strategic introductions Your existing consulting or advisory relationships We are specifically looking for people who are comfortable creating business opportunities rather than waiting for Brava to provide a calendar of pre-booked sales calls. Ongoing Business Advisory Once a company becomes a Brava client, you remain connected to that business through Brava. You will use the Brava platform to understand what is happening across the organization and help leadership determine where attention and action are needed. You are not expected to manually monitor every employee interaction or piece of company activity. Brava does the continuous monitoring and intelligence work. Your responsibility is to interpret what matters, challenge leadership when necessary, provide context and recommendations, and help ensure important issues do not disappear without action. What You May Help Leadership With Depending on the company, this may include: Identifying recurring execution issues Understanding where managers may be falling behind Reviewing company and department patterns Helping leadership prioritize what deserves attention Recognizing accountability gaps Identifying repeated organizational friction Discussing employee and management signals Following up on previous leadership actions Helping executives distinguish isolated incidents from recurring patterns Providing experienced outside perspective Helping leadership act on what Brava is revealing This is not traditional executive coaching limited to conversations with one executive. Example Recurring Portfolio Potential: For Advisors building a portfolio of recurring Premium accounts:10 active accountsApproximately $84,000–$180,000 per year in Advisor compensation, depending on the service level of each account.20 active accountsApproximately $168,000–$360,000 per year in Advisor compensation, depending on the service level of each account. Actual compensation depends on the number of accounts developed, account service levels, successful customer collections, retention, and the terms of the applicable Brava Advisor agreement. Why This Model Is Different: Traditional consultants often spend significant time gathering information before they can advise leadership. Brava is designed to give the Advisor a continuous view into the company. Instead of repeatedly starting from:"What happened?"the Advisor can spend more time on:"Why is this happening?""What deserves attention?""What should leadership do?""Did the previous action actually work?"That allows experienced Advisors to deliver deeper value while potentially overseeing a larger portfolio of companies than traditional consulting methods allow.
The Opportunity:
  • Our goal is to build a network of exceptional Brava Advisors who each develop a meaningful recurring portfolio of businesses.
  • For the right person, this can become more than a referral opportunity.
