Position Highlights:
- Full-time Radiation Oncology opportunity
- Practice external beam radiation therapy
- Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome
- Join a collaborative team of 7 Radiation Oncologists across multiple Central Illinois locations
- State-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam® with micro-MLCs and onsite CT simulator and PET/CTTreatment capabilities include 3D, IMRT with RapidArc®, SRS, SRT and SBRTActive stereotactic radiotherapy programEPIC, ARIA and Eclipse treatment planning systems
- Dedicated support from 2 medical physicists, medical dosimetrist, 4 radiation therapists and 2 RNsWeekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conference and disease-specific Tumor BoardsStrong collaboration with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services
- Opportunity for academic appointment through an engineering-focused medical school
- Strong clinical cancer research program with an NCI-supported NCORP grant
- Access to more than 100 open clinical trials across East Central Illinois
- Opportunity to support investigator-initiated research through an established clinical research institute
