Martial Arts Instructor/Teacher- Part Time - Kids - Buckhead- Atlanta

Responsibilities: High Quality Customer Service with the students and parents Lead and assist in Providing A+ Quality, High Energy, educational class Martial Arts Instruction. Follow PMA Curriculum, Class Planning & management; also conduct new student intros andorientation. Record Student's Progress through progress checks, stripe and belt testing. Work at Events/Trades shows, Festivals, Community events, Churches, Partnerships, Birthday Parties, Parent’s Night Out; distributing marketing materials. Assist with sales and administration; Maintain high member and sales level support through sales, point of sale transactions, scheduling, phone calls, studio cleaning, belttesting, and belt ceremonies. Maintain ongoing records of belt advancement for students. Maintain high student attendance, through engagement with students and parents (appts, calls, one toones).Must be actively involved in GROWING our business! Time and Transportation Requirement This position will be part-time between 5-10 hours a week. May change (increase/decrease) over time. Current schedule includes: Tues (1:30-3:30), Thurs (1:15-3:15:), Frid (12:30-3:30) and some Saturdays (8:30-12:00).Tues, Thurs, and Friday work will be split between in town schools and our studio. Other schools andhours may be assigned as acquired. Flexibility is important. Must have own transportation to get to and from work and the schools and must be on time.

Qualifications: Prior Martial Arts, Boxing, Karate, Exercise/Fitness and some type of teaching. Organized-Self Starter, flexible, positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn, engaging, willingnessto create interest and excitement for students- both kids (starting at 3 yrs.)and adults.
