Job Details:
- Seeking locum physicians to cover nights, weekends, and holidays in the emergency department
- Day shifts are also accepted, but the primary need is for night, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Providers must share their availability through 2026 when submitting
- Must be emergency medicine residency trained and board certified (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine not accepted)
- Perform standard emergency medicine procedures including central lines and intubations
- Patient volume approximately 40,000 per year with 20-25 patient encounters per shift
- Level 3 Trauma designation facility with 17 beds in the emergency department
- Admission rate of approximately 15%EMR system is EPICConsultant support available including cardiology, nephrology, surgery, podiatry, orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, tele-neurology, and hospitalists
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS8-10 shifts per month with day and night availability needed
- Available shift times include: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and 4:00 PM - 3:00 AMOpen shift dates include coverage needs through December and into the new year across multiple dates
