Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, through both virtual sessions and comprehensive documentation. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and individual needs, leveraging evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care best practices, empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions. Monitor client progression using standardized assessments and adjust treatment plans accordingly to continuously support their mental health journey. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care that enhances treatment outcomes. Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, contributing to the improvement of therapeutic strategies within the team. Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality protocols in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while maintaining accurate client records. Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue continued professional development to enhance therapeutic skills. Act as an advocate for clients, fighting against the stigma surrounding mental health while prioritizing their needs and well-being. Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and other related challenges. Our clients range from young adults to seniors, all seeking support in navigating their mental health journeys. Qualifications:
Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to build trustful therapeutic relationships with clients.
A nonjudgmental and empathetic approach towards clients' struggles and experiences is required.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and administrative tasks in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience working with clients facing mood disorders is highly desirable.
Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT is an asset.
Experience in integrated care models is beneficial, allowing for improved collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits:
