Legal Assistant

Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Job Description: Legal Department is looking for a highly motivated Consumer Litigation Document Assistant. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Legal Department’s Warranty/Lemon Law litigation case managers with the process of collecting documents for discovery in litigation. Reporting to the Managing Counsel- Business Litigation and Warranty/Lemon Law, the person in this role will support the Legal Department’s objective to strategically and efficiently manage its warranty/lemon law litigation.

What you’ll be doing: Collecting customer and vehicle documents from various corporate departments, including downloading information from internal databases Updating case files Transmitting documents to outside counsel for production Other discovery projects as requested
