Job Description Job Description Fleet & Equipment Mechanic Denver, CO $20-$27/hour Full-Time Monday-FridayWe are seeking an experienced Fleet & Equipment Mechanic to join a stable, well-established Denver-based company. This is a great opportunity for an automotive mechanic who enjoys working independently and wants a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule with little to no overtime. This position combines automotive/fleet maintenance with the maintenance and repair of company-owned tools and equipment. You do not need previous experience with every piece of equipment. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical fundamentals who is motivated, dependable, and able to quickly learn new equipment and repair processes.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on company vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
  • Complete oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance
  • Determine which repairs can be completed in-house and when a vehicle should be sent to an outside repair shop
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair company tools and equipment
  • Test-drive company vehicles as needed following repairs
  • Maintain basic vehicle and equipment maintenance records
  • Track upcoming vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Work independently while keeping maintenance and repairs organized and on schedule
  • What Our Client is Looking For 2+ years of automotive/vehicle mechanic experience
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Strong preventive maintenance knowledge
  • General mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment and tool repair
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook/calendar
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or GEDAbility to pass required pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana
  • No ASE or other mechanic certifications are required.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, generally 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Some flexibility may occasionally be needed, but overtime is not typically expected.
