School Janitor/Custodian

KEY DUTIES: Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal Sanitize restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common areas Operate custodial equipment such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners Respond to facility cleaning needs during and after school hours Follow safety protocols and site-specific janitorial procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive physical movements Must be able to read and follow instructions in English Valid government-issued photo ID and fingerprint clearance EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather Requires stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and kneeling Operates standard custodial tools and cleaning equipment Must have reliable transportation to and from work
