Avionics Technician This position is responsible for the inspection, testing, repair, and overhaul of electronic instruments such as communication/navigation radios, radar altimeters, distance measuring equipment, and radio control heads. Daily tasks will include testing units with panel-mounted or stand-alone test fixtures, soldering and wiring repair, cleaning and painting units, and calibration of units to prescribed specifications.
Qualifications: Electronics Technology skills Soldering and Troubleshooting skills Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical systems Experience in Maintenance & Repair Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant certifications or education in electronics or a related field Experience in the aviation industry is a plus Applicants must: Be able to read and comprehend electronic schematics and other technical data Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, both oral and written Be organized and detail oriented Function well and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment Be dependable and able to multitask Be able to solve a wide variety of problems, both independently and as a member of a team Avionics repair or relevant technical experience preferred Benefits for Full Time Eligible Employees: Medical Insurance Dental and Vision insurance Life Insurance Paid Vacation Paid Holidays 401KA pre-employment drug test is required, and employees will be subject to ongoing random drug testing per FAA requirements.
