Tool and Die Technician

What you will be doing: Repair of metal stamping dies including sharpening, cleaning, and refurbishing Repair and maintenance of tube mill cut off dies Work with press/mill operators to remedy part quality issues Supporting maintenance department with various machining needs and projects Machining of various die components and other components needed for the plant using equipment such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, and CNC equipment Set up and tear down of roll form tooling Cleaning and polishing of roll form tooling Coordinate with cross functional teams The skills and experience you need: Education: High School Diploma Tech School Formal Apprenticeship/Journeyman 5 or more years of experience making or maintaining metal stamping dies Experience with roll form tooling and processes Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues in the press or on the roll forming mills 5 or more years of manual machining experience with knee mills, toolroom lathes, bandsaws, surface grinders Experience running and programming CNC lathes and mills using conversational programming Ability to program a wire EDM machine with MasterCam Experience welding tool steel and other ferrous metals This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
