Description: American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN with OASIS and HCHB EMR experience for a geriatric caseload in Bellingham, WA. DetailsHome health setting providing care to adult and geriatric patients Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, 8-hour shifts No weekend or on-call requirements Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with 6 visits daily Minimum of 30 productivity points required weekly Requires visiting the main office weekly or biweekly for team meetings and supplies Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office hub Travelers must be flexible with assigned territory

Requirements: Active WA or compact RN license required, in hand BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health RN experience required OASIS experience required HCHB EMR experience required First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information: Responsibilities include admission assessments, start of care, resumption of care, recertification, and discharge visits Performs wound care, medication administration and management, and pain assessment using verbal and nonverbal scales Administers medications via intramuscular, intravenous, and subcutaneous routes Performs phlebotomy and IV starts and maintenance Follows infection control precautions in the home setting Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone use not required Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate Local candidates accepted at the travel rate Timely documentation and communication are required
