Virtual Financial Analyst

Role Description: The Virtual Financial Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the financial health and decision-making of the medical practice. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and analyzing financial statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the development of financial plans and budgets. The role involves monitoring revenue and expenses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing data-driven insights to support management decisions. The analyst will help maintain accurate financial records, collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify financial data, and contribute to forecasting and long-term financial strategies. This position requires consistent communication via virtual tools, adherence to deadlines, and a commitment to high standards of confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge, including an understanding of healthcare or service-based business operations. Candidates should possess Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Candidates should possess Financial Reporting skills, including preparing clear, accurate, and compliant financial reports for leadership. Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, variance analysis, and problem-solving. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or similar) are a plus. Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial modeling tools, and accounting systems).Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
