Per Diem Pharmacy Intern; Mount Sinai Hospital

Responsibilities include: Assisting pharmacist with preparing and dispensing medication. Mixing pharmaceutical preparations, filling bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules and preparing labels for bottles. Filling medications orders for individual patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Receiving and storing incoming supplies. Counting stock and entering data in computer to maintain inventory records. Preparing intravenous (IV) medication using sterile technique under the supervision of hospital pharmacists.

Qualifications: Enrolled in an accredited (ACPE) College of Pharmacy, end of 3 year or above.1 year hospital pharmacy setting preferred. Name: Pharmacy Intern Permit.
