Neuropsychologist, Neurology The Neuropsychologist will fulfill a number of duties encompassed under the scope of neuropsychology practice to enhance the Marcus Neuroscience Institute patient experience and to strengthen the MNI clinical programs in Epilepsy, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Neuro oncology and postoperative recovery. They will work closely with psychiatry, neurosurgeons, neurologists, nursing and Neuroscience leadership. They will evaluate cognitive, emotional, and psychological responses due to the stresses of their illness and work to enhance the quality of life and health outcomes of MNI patients. The neuropsychologist will conduct standard psychological assessments and cognitive testing. They will also act as a patient/family advocate in negotiating the healthcare system and family needs with ongoing communications with physicians and providers. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of age-specific differences in neurological patient populations across age spectrums. Estimated salary range for this position is $107760.50 - $140088.65 / year depending on experience.
