This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered women s healthcare to a diverse community while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Women s Health Nurse Practitioner will provide care throughout the reproductive lifespan, with an emphasis on gynecologic care, reproductive health, family planning, prenatal care, preventive services, and patient education. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations, including well-woman exams Diagnose and treat common reproductive and gynecological conditions Provide evidence-based care throughout the reproductive lifespan, from adolescence through menopause Provide family planning counseling, contraceptive education, and prescription services Develop individualized family planning strategies with patients Administer contraceptive methods, including long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) and hormonal methods Provide prenatal examinations, screenings, education, and ongoing prenatal care Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care during pregnancy Provide postpartum care and support addressing both physical and emotional well-being Educate patients regarding reproductive health, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices Promote disease prevention and health education within the community Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records and comply with applicable regulatory and FQHC standards
Qualifications:
Master s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Women s Health Nurse Practitioner specialization Current Washington State nursing license Current certification as a Women s Health Nurse PractitionerDEA certification Current BLS and ACLS certification Previous women s healthcare experience preferredFQHC or community health experience is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking, time management, and treatment-planning abilities Compassionate and culturally responsive approach to patient care About the Community Located in southeastern Washington, the Tri-Cities region offers a combination of growing communities, outdoor recreation, and access to the Columbia River.
