More! You'll maintain and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment used in metal packaging production.
Responsibilities include:
*Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify mechanical equipment and production machinery
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
*Diagnose mechanical failures and minimize equipment downtime
*Inspect, repair, and replace bearings, chains, gears, belts, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical components
*Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges with tolerances up to* .0010
*Perform equipment inspections and document maintenance activities
*Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency
*Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability
Qualifications:
We're looking for candidates with:
*High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical education
*2+ years of Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanical Technician, or Industrial Maintenance experience desired
*Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
*Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
*Ability to read measuring instruments and work with close tolerances
*Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
*Commitment to safety and quality
Manufacturing, food production, packaging, automotive, steel, paper, plastics, chemical processing, or similar industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred.
