Physics - Adjunct Faculty

SUMMARY: Seeking adjunct faculty to teach various Physics courses and/or labs on campus in Spring Arbor. Assignments for courses in future semesters available Spring Arbor University is a community of learners distinguished by our lifelong involvement in the study and application of the liberal arts, total commitment to Jesus Christ as the perspective of learning, and critical participation in the contemporary world. The successful candidate will be able to articulate how they would seek to integrate the Christian faith into their discipline and will be someone who enjoys working with students and other faculty. Individual will exhibit a life and service that is in full accord with the Spring Arbor University Concept, Statement of Faith, and Community Covenant. Applicants must be thoroughly supportive of the University's mission and values as an evangelical Christian University affiliated with the Free Methodist Church. Spring Arbor University is located in Spring Arbor, Michigan. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in Physics or master's degree in a closely related area with 18 credit hours related to Physics or Applied Physics. Doctorate in Physics is preferred. Record of successful college teaching is preferred. Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
