Working Foreman – Metal Stud Framing & Drywall

We’re hiring a full-time Commercial Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial interior construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be in the field, working alongside your crew when needed, solving problems, coordinating with Project Managers, and making sure the work gets done safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll be responsible for keeping your crew productive, organized, and moving in the right direction. This includes:• Lead and coordinate field crews on assigned projects• Work hands-on alongside the crew when needed• Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and project specifications• Plan daily work and assign responsibilities• Coordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors• Keep projects on schedule while maintaining quality standards• Monitor workmanship and address issues before they become punch-list items or callbacks• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and jobsite needs• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite• Track job progress and communicate clearly with the team• Build strong working relationships with customers, coworkers, and project partnersWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR• 3+ years of commercial construction experience in metal stud framing and/or drywall hanging or finishing• 2+ years of experience as a crew leader, Foreman, Superintendent, or similar field leadership role• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications• Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and field methods• Ability to lead a crew while still jumping in and doing the work when needed• Strong problem-solving skills and practical jobsite judgment• Clear communication skills• Valid driver’s licenseWHAT MAKES A GREAT FOREMAN AT ZOOK?Knowing the trade is important.
