BAS Control Technician (Phoenix)

Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot building automation and control systems. Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, and total system commissioning. Integrate third-party devices and subsystems into Niagara-based platforms. Program and configure BAS software, alarms, trends, graphics, and operator workstations. Troubleshoot communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks. Interpret wiring diagrams, control schematics, and sequence of operations. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, engineers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery. Complete commissioning documentation and support as-built documentation. Conduct customer training and assist with system turnover to service teams.

Qualifications: 3+ years of HVAC controls, BAS integration, and subsystem experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, RTUs, AHUs, and VAV systems. Experience configuring, programming, and commissioning building automation controls. Proficiency with BAS communication protocols and network troubleshooting. Understanding of control circuitry, wiring diagrams, inputs/outputs, and system networks.
