Foothills Physical Therapy Group is looking for a compassionate, skilled Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a job in Knoxville, TN, where you can provide hands-on care while building meaningful relationships with the people you serve. Our mission is to love people well, build lifelong relationships, and give patients a voice as they work toward living fully without pain or limitations. As a PTA on our team, you'll play an important role in delivering thoughtful treatment, supporting patient progress, and creating an experience where people feel heard, respected, and encouraged. Care That Gives Patients a Voice
At Foothills, we believe physical therapy is about more than completing a treatment plan. It's about understanding the person in front of you and helping them move toward a life that feels fulfilling and physically and mentally thriving. You'll work with patients through therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, functional mobility, balance, strengthening, and other interventions within your scope of practice. You'll also have the opportunity to build relationships with patients, families, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team. By listening carefully, communicating changes to the supervising Physical Therapist, and educating patients about their exercises and home programs, you'll help make sure patients understand their care and have an active role in their progress. A Supportive Place to Build Your Career
We want our clinicians to have the support and resources to provide excellent care. This position includes 1:1 patient care and trained technician support, giving you the opportunity to stay focused on patient needs while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment. You'll work as part of a team that values professionalism, compassion, teamwork, and respect. Foothills also makes room for professional growth. You'll have a $1,000 allowance toward continuing education, incentive bonus opportunities, and room to develop your career and clinical skills. Our 4 1/2-day work week, with Friday afternoons off, is another way we support a sustainable approach to the work you do. If you're looking for a PTA role where patient relationships and clinical development both matter, we'd be glad to hear from you.
