Salesforce Administrator Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance their Salesforce platform. This role will support fundraising, donor management, program tracking, and internal operations through system configuration, workflow automation, data management, and user support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, Salesforce Flow, and translating business needs into effective platform solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user accounts, profiles, permission sets, and security settings
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning record pages, and validation rules
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Salesforce Flows to automate fundraising, donor management, and operational workflows
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support fundraising performance, program outcomes, and operational reporting
  • Maintain data quality through imports, data cleanup, deduplication, and ongoing data integrity checks
  • Support and configure Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or similar nonprofit data models
  • Manage and troubleshoot connections with third-party fundraising tools, marketing platforms, and financial applications
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable Salesforce configurations
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation to improve platform adoption
  • Evaluate Salesforce releases, test updates, and coordinate deployment of system changes
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, user management, permissions, and security
  • Experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flows
  • Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards
  • Experience with data imports, exports, and cleanup using tools such as Data Loader or Data Import Wizard
  • Experience configuring Lightning Experience, including record pages and page layouts
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification preferred
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting Salesforce in a nonprofit environment or working with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
  • Understanding of donor management, fundraising workflows, or nonprofit program operations
  • Experience supporting third-party integrations and AppExchange applications
  • Familiarity with sandbox environments, change sets, and deployment processes
