Pay: $85,000–$90,000 per year, based on experience About Us Asian Family Market is a growing Asian grocery chain serving the Puget Sound area, with stores in Bellevue, Seattle, Tukwila, and Beaverton. Our Tukwila location is a high-volume store known for its wide selection of fresh, specialty Asian produce, and we're looking for an experienced Produce Department Manager to lead that department.

What You'll Do: Manage all aspects of the produce department, including ordering, receiving, pricing, rotation, and merchandising Maintain freshness, quality, and presentation standards across a wide variety of Asian and specialty produce Build and manage relationships with produce vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and pricing Hire, train, schedule, and supervise produce department staff Monitor shrink, waste, and inventory levels to hit department cost and margin targets Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and labeling standards Partner with store leadership on promotions, seasonal displays, and sales goals What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience managing a produce department, ideally in a grocery or specialty market setting Working knowledge of Asian produce varieties and sourcing is a strong plus Strong vendor negotiation and inventory management skills Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team Comfortable with early-morning hours, physical work, and a fast-paced retail environment Bilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Spanish) a plus, not required
