Inventory Cycle Counter

Pay: $17.00 an hour. We pay weekly.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM.Overtime as needed. Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Inventory Cycle Counter/Forklift Operator for our client in the Houston, TX 77055 area.

Job Overview: The Inventory Cycle Counter will perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress inventory. This position will verify inventory accuracy, record inventory movements, and operate forklifts to safely move materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate must have previous cycle count inventory experience and experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Key Responsibilities: Follow all Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Perform daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Count and verify raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress inventory. Identify and report inventory discrepancies. Verify transfers and put-aways are accurately accounted for in the inventory system. Use handheld scanning devices and/or manual reports to track inventory. Enter inventory transactions and material movements into the inventory system. Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials throughout the facility. Handle stock safely and efficiently in various areas throughout the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding inventory discrepancies or material movements. Work safely, quickly, and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Engage in problem-solving and support continuous improvement. Maintain a positive, respectful attitude while working independently and as part of a team. Work overtime as business needs require. Perform other related duties as directed.
