Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analyst — Remote Turn billing data into findings practices can act on — clean claim rate, denials by payer, days in AR, underpayments — and track whether the fixes worked. Every CredSpun engagement starts with a free practice review: clean claim rate and first-pass resolution, denial reasons by payer, aging past 90 days, suspected underpayments against contracted rates, and payer panels the practice isn't enrolled with. As a revenue cycle analyst you produce those reviews — and the monthly reporting that follows once a practice signs on. The job is half analysis and half translation. The numbers have to be right, and the findings have to be written so that a practice owner understands what each problem is worth and what to do about it.

Calculate core RCM metrics: clean claim rate, denial rate, days in AR, net collection rate Break denials down by payer, reason, provider and location, and estimate their value Compare paid amounts to contracted fee schedules to find underpayments Write practice review findings and monthly reports in plain English Track whether process fixes reduce the denials they target Support account leads in client calls with the numbers behind each recommendation What you need Three or more years in medical billing or revenue cycle, including reporting Strong Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) skills Solid understanding of the full revenue cycle, from eligibility to AR Clear, concise business writing Helpful, not required SQL or a BI tool, CRCR or CRCS certification, and experience with payer contract analysis.
