Director of Social Work

Essential Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the social work department, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs and goals Provide clinical supervision and support to social workers and other multidisciplinary team members Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address psychosocial needs and develop strategies for post-acute care Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify barriers to care, and develop tailored interventions to promote patient engagement and satisfaction Foster a culture of empathy and understanding, promoting open communication and respectful interactions among patients, families, and staff Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, incorporating this knowledge into department operations and education
