Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care to residents to support their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The CNA works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and follows established care plans and facility policies.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the Charge Nurse
Follow all safety and infection control procedures
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Promote positive communication with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications:
Active New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
