Job Description: An established healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner to join its Sleep Lab team. In this role, you will deliver specialized respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team. This position requires strong clinical expertise, independent judgment, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced respiratory therapy services in a sleep lab setting Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and sleep-related conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to develop care plans Operate and maintain respiratory and sleep diagnostic equipment Educate patients and families on treatment plans and therapy techniques Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements
Required Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or ability to obtain upon hire)Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sleep lab or polysomnography settings Strong background in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
