Site Operations Specialist

Responsibilities: Assist daily operations of material flow, including receiving, issuing, organizing materials to support production schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy and driving continuous improvements Train and develop team members, implementing training plans and managing cross-training and staff rotations Monitor material needs for assigned production areas, track real-time progress to delivery targets, and adjust manpower as needed Conduct first-level investigations into quality and safety incidents, documenting findings and proposing preventive actions Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts to transport materials to/from production areas and prepare outgoing materials using proper packaging methods Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S protocols and ensuring proper PPE usage Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and productivity

Requirements: Current Tesla Production Control experience preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively Experience with technology, including laptops, scanners, Microsoft Office-based systems, and other data entry tools preferred Positive, team-oriented attitude with a track record of meeting goals and completing tasks Commitment to adhering to safety standards and creating a culture of continuous improvement Experience with heavy equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts, Forklift certification preferred
