Job Description The HVAC Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems within a one-hour drive from Sterling Heights. Working both independently and as part of a small team, the technician ensures systems operate efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The role includes troubleshooting malfunctions, reading blueprints, and using company-provided tools and vehicles to complete jobs effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams for accurate installation
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Provide clear technical answers and excellent customer service
- Operate company vehicle and tools safely within assigned travel zone
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in HVAC and Refrigeration service
- Proficient in HVAC system installation
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems
- Familiarity with electrical wiring and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
