Manager, Corporate Operations (Accounting + HR Ops)

Position Overview: The Manager, Corporate Operations will oversee core corporate accounting, operations, and human resources functions for the parent company and its UK subsidiary. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Operations, this role will supervise and mentor two corporate accountants on the team.

Key Responsibilities: General Ledger & Accounting: Review and maintain books and records for the management company and general partner (GP) entities. Coordinate and manage annual audit processes with external auditors. GP Accounting & Partner Capital: Maintain partner capital accounts. Prepare capital call and distribution analyses, along with corresponding notices for GP entities. UK Operations & Subsidiary Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the UK office, coordinating payroll, insurance, local tax and regulatory filings, HR workflows, and external UK accounting advisors. Treasury & AP: Review and authorize wire and ACH payments for accounts payable workflows. Payroll & HR Administration: Oversee corporate payroll processing and employee benefit plans (health insurance, 401(k)/retirement plans, flexible spending, transportation benefits, etc.). Assist with end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding. Risk & Operations Management: Coordinate annual corporate insurance renewals in partnership with external brokers. Oversee monthly travel and entertainment (T&E) expense reporting and manage ad-hoc operational/HR tasks.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.

Experience: 10+ years of corporate accounting experience; background in financial services, asset management, or private equity highly preferred.

Core Competencies: Strong foundational general ledger accounting knowledge; proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage concurrent operational workstreams. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills across cross-functional internal teams and external service providers.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Sage Intacct or modern corporate accounting ERP platforms preferred.
