About us:
STR Law is the national legal brand for short-term rental owners, built by attorney and 10 year Airbnb Superhost Katie Johnson. We help hosts protect what they’ve built with LLCs, trusts, rental agreements, and practical legal education. Our audience is growing fast across social media, webinars, and national press, and we need an attorney to help us serve the clients coming in the door.
The role:
- RemoteWhat you’ll doAdvise STR owners on entity structure, holding companies, and ownership strategy
- Form LLCs and draft operating agreements for single and multi member entities
- Draft revocable trusts and related estate planning documents
- Prepare deeds transferring properties into entities and trusts
- Run client strategy calls and deliver clear, practical recommendations
- Review and customize rental agreements, co-host agreements, and other STR documents
- Help build and refine templates and processes so our services scale
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of practice, with real asset protection experience
- Active law license in good standing in at least one U.S. state
- Florida or California license preferred
- Licenses in multiple states preferred
- Comfortable with entity formation, trusts, and real estate transfers
- Clear, plain English communicator who clients trust quickly
- Self directed and organized; you can run a caseload without hand holding
- Interest in short-term rentals or real estate investing is a big plus
- Compensation and perks$140,000 base salary
- Quarterly performance bonuses, with total compensation up to $180,000 Fully remote
- Work on a national brand with a growing, engaged client base
