Role Site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and safety leadership at the Carpinteria site. Responsibilitiesoversee EHS compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; manage safety programs, emergency response, hazardous materials, and risk assessments; lead incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives; develop EHS training, foster safety culture, and coordinate cross-functional EHS activities; track EHS-related financials; promote sustainability and health initiatives; provide remote oversight for other sites.
Requirements: Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or equivalent; 4+ years in EHS, regulatory compliance, or manufacturing in Life Science, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical sectors; strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, DTSC regulations; experience with EHS management systems and hazard assessments. PreferredEHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM), GMP environment experience, project management skills, understanding of engineering controls. High-Valuehigh-risk manufacturing/laboratory environment, GMP, ISO 14001/45001, emergency response leadership. Work setupon-site full-time; occasional travel; day shift.
