Setting: Veterinary Teaching Hospital

Patient Population: Dogs, Cats, Small Mammals, Reptiles & Birds Summary Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join an established Anesthesia & Pain Management Service. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of veterinary specialists in a highly advanced clinical and teaching environment.

Responsibilities: Supervise sedated and anesthetized patients. Develop and manage anesthesia, sedation, and pain management plans. Supervise and educate veterinary technicians, interns, and residents. Provide in-house anesthesia and pain management consultations. Consult with referring veterinarians regarding complex cases. Provide lectures and educational training for interns, residents, and referring veterinarians. Collaborate with specialists across multiple veterinary services.

Qualifications: DVM or equivalent veterinary degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Veterinary Anesthesiology. Eligible for New York State veterinary licensure. Strong clinical, communication, and teaching skills. Interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary veterinary medicine.
