Volunteer Opportunities 11th Annual UNMASKED Gala

Volunteers must be 18 or older and will receive a meal and drinks. Attire: black slacks, black dress shirt, and comfortable shoes (black preferred).Interested? Let us know which role you'd prefer and your availability when you sign up here. SETUP AND DECORATIONSHelp transform the venue into the UNMASKED experience. Arrive early to set up tables, centerpieces, signage, and masquerade décor Follow the décor plan and placement guide from the event team Help with last-minute adjustments before doors open Time: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Comfortable with light lifting and standing. TECHNICAL SUPPORTKeep the sound, lighting, and visuals running smoothly. Help the AV team and vendors set up microphones, speakers, and screens Run sound checks and assist with presentations and the program Troubleshoot equipment issues during the event Time: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Basic AV or tech experience preferred. CHECK-INBe the first friendly face guests see. Greet guests and confirm their names on the registration list Hand out name tags, table assignments, programs, and event materials Direct guests to the cocktail hour, photo area, and children's gala Time: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Warm, organized, and comfortable with a guest list. PHOTOGRAPHYCapture the night, from the red-carpet moments to the dance floor. Photograph guests, sponsors, speakers, and key moments, including the masked photo area Follow the shot list from the event team Deliver edited photos within [timeframe]Time: 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Bring your own camera. Please share a portfolio or sample photos when you sign up. FOOD AND BEVERAGE COORDINATIONHelp keep dinner and drinks on schedule. Work with the venue and caterer to confirm timing for cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert Help guests find dietary options and answer basic questions Keep serving and bar areas neat and stocked Time: 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Attention to detail and calm under pressure. CLEANUPHelp close out the evening with care. Collect décor, signage, and leftover event materials Pack and label items for return or storage Do a final sweep of the space with the event lead Time: 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Comfortable with light lifting.
