Special Education Instructional Health Assistant - Hebron Middle

Health Care Assistant Join us for the 2026–2027 school year! Hebron Middle School is seeking a caring individual who would be responsible for providing health care needs of students during the school day in accordance with state laws and district regulations. This person would collaborate with other assistants and teachers to provide a safe, healthy learning environment for students.

An Associate's Degree ORHigh school diploma plus a passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment Exam. Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Compensation & Experience CreditSalary for the 2026-2027 school year will be based on Board approved salary schedule.2026 - 2027 Pay Scale Starting Pay (Step 0): $16.46/hour Experienced Pay (Step 10): $20.26/hour We value experience! Previous experience working with students? New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June. Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary.
