We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead product engineering, R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives at our Muskego, WI manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, driving operational performance, managing capital projects up to $5M, and developing a high-performing engineering team. What You'll Do: As Engineering Manager, you will:✅ Lead the design, development, and launch of new products from concept through production✅ Drive engineering initiatives focused on product performance, reliability, quality, and cost reduction✅ Partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver innovative and manufacturable solutions✅ Manage capital projects ranging from $50K to $5M, from business case through implementation✅ Oversee CAD standards, product documentation, design reviews, and engineering best practices✅ Support manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve OEE✅ Lead root cause investigations, customer issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts✅ Develop supplier relationships to enhance product quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness✅ Build, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical professionals✅ Serve as a technical leader and key contributor to strategic business initiatives
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Process Engineering 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience Strong experience within a manufacturing environment Expertise in new product development and product lifecycle management Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards Experience using CATIA or similar advanced CAD systems Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
