Lead Aircraft Technician

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of ten (10) years’ total and two (2) years recent (within 4 years of task order PoP start) experience in aircraft maintenance support within two (2) years on Fighter/Bomber/Attack aircraft (preferably F-16) as an aircraft mechanic in Avionics, Electrical or General maintenance specialties. Previous supervisory experience in fighter aircraft maintenance, or modification fields.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff. Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Normal color vision as defined by GMRE, with a passing score of 75% or greater. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
