Apply for this role →To support a growing client base, the full-time Senior Tax Processing Specialist will prepare over 750 sales and use tax returns monthly, implement new client onboarding, and foster strong client relationships while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for level 3-4 clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Onboard new clients by establishing tax data files, reviewing data, and resolving discrepancies
Mentor junior staff members and develop training materials to enhance team knowledge and capabilities
Required Qualifications:
8-12 years of experience in tax processing, accounting, or a related field
Comprehensive knowledge of complex tax compliance issues for level 3-4 clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, and Vertex Indirect Tax Returns (VITR)
Prior mentoring or formal leadership experience with the ability to coach junior staff
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field, with relevant certifications preferred
