Job Responsibilities:
The Houseman supports and services the Room Attendants by ensuring the cleanliness in assigned Housekeeping areas is kept clean and fully stocked.
Responsibilities:
- Removes all soiled linen and trash from rooms as soon as they become vacant.
- Separates linen by type
- Maintains the housekeeping closets by ensuring that all supplies are stocked. This includes guest and room supplies, linen and the removal of all trash and boxes.
- Responsible for keeping the department storage room clean and organized
- Public space and guest room carpet cleaning
- Assists in the receiving and storage of all equipment and supplies
- Delivery of guest request items, i.e., rollaways, cribs, etc.
- Assists in the Laundry department when required
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must excel in a fast paced environment
- A keen eye for detail.
- Must have a positive, cheerful disposition
- Weekends are required
Physical Requirements:
This position requires constant standing, forward reaching, and walking. Position also requires frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing and overhead reaching. Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs.
Working Environment: Must be able to adapt to all weather conditions.
Miscellaneous Requirements:
Candidate must be able to pass a physical through Carr Physical Therapy prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
