Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)Leisure Travel Advisor The Leisure Travel Advisor will be responsible for providing the successful completion of leisure travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business.
Responsibilities:
- Build client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events and personal networking
- Sell Direct Travel strategic supplier products
- Plan itineraries, book tickets and arrange travel accommodations and services
- Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems
- Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients
- Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years leisure industry experience.3+ years GDS (Apollo or Sabre) experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business education preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
- Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
- Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
- Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
- Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Organizational skills that result in high productivity
