Our client is a well-established mid-sized automation and integrated systems provider serving life sciences, automotive, aerospace, electronics/semiconductor, EV, and industrial markets. The team delivers complex, custom automation solutions and is expanding its Applications talent to support continued growth across high-value capital equipment programs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop complex custom equipment proposals, detailed estimates, ROM budgets, and fixed-price quotes
- Lead mechanical and electrical concept development for automated assembly, testing, robotics, material handling, and custom machinery
- Manage large or complex quoting projects, conduct peer reviews, mentor junior Applications Engineers, and support projects from concept through installation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical background 10+ years of industrial automation experience, including experience estimating and quoting custom automation equipment
- Advanced experience with 2D and 3D layouts, GD&T, tolerance analysis, timing diagrams, DFMA, labor and material costing, and customer technical presentations
