Summary: The Medical Transcriptionist will provide transcription support within a Pathology/Laboratory setting using oral dictation and voice-recognition software.

Requirements: Appropriate experience working in a Pathology/Laboratory environment or equivalent medical transcription experience. Experience transcribing medical information from oral dictation. Ability to use voice-recognition software for medical transcription. Ability to accurately prepare and maintain medical transcription documentation.

Duties: Transcribe pathology and laboratory documentation from oral dictation. Review and process documentation generated through voice-recognition software. Prepare accurate transcription records for assigned laboratory services. Maintain and organize transcription documentation according to laboratory procedures.
