Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Travere as we continue to grow in support of our commitment to identify, develop, and deliver life-changing therapies to people living with rare disease. During Travere Therapeutics' 11-week Early Career Talent Internship Program, beginning June 7, 2027, the intern will work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite and 3 days virtually per week) and gain mentorship and cross-functional exposure while contributing to team objectives. The internship program will conclude with an opportunity to deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, key findings, contributions, and learning from the internship to senior leadership. The Clinical Pharmacology Intern will contribute to a focused Pharmacology project and additional activities based on departmental priorities and evolving needs, while developing foundational and applied clinical pharmacology skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and noncompartmental analysis (NCA), with guidance from Clinical Pharmacology team members. Support planning for PK/PD analysis and creating datasets for project-based analyses. Support population PK and/or PK/PD modeling and related quantitative analyses, as appropriate to the intern’s experience and project scope. Develop clear data visualizations and clinical data summaries that communicate scientific findings. Conduct literature reviews and synthesize relevant scientific information to support ongoing Clinical Pharmacology work. Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacology and cross-functional partners to understand how clinical data inform development decisions. Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, key findings, contributions, and learning from the internship. Education/
Experience Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical engineering, statistics, data science, or a related scientific field, with at least one semester to complete prior to graduation. Coursework or academic experience related to pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, quantitative sciences, or clinical research is preferred. Experience working with clinical, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, or other biomedical datasets is preferred. Familiarity with one or more data analysis or quantitative tools (e.g., R, Python, Phoenix Win Nonlin, NONMEM, or similar software) is a plus. Experience:

Interest in clinical pharmacology, modeling and simulation, drug development, quantitative system analysis, and rare disease. Working knowledge of data analysis, noncompartmental analysis or scientific programming tools is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new scientific concepts, work collaboratively, and manage project milestones over an 11-week assignment. All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.
Target Base Pay Range:
