Senior Accountant - Implementation Project - REMOTE

Compensation: $90k - $100k + 10% annual bonus + Free Healthcare + 18 days PTO + 401k Matching (3% match) Financial Reporting & Accounting Perform detailed account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Conduct accounting research and analysis to validate financial results and identify discrepancies. Prepare financial reports and analyses for leadership, highlighting business trends and key insights. Develop and maintain schedules for accruals, amortization, and other accounting activities. Process Improvement & Controls Research accounting guidance and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and internal controls. Strengthen control environments and support risk mitigation initiatives. Audit & Compliance Coordinate financial statement and regulatory audits. Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audit deliverables. Support compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Serve as a lead resource for accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support. Lead departmental projects and cross-functional initiatives, evaluating impacts and presenting recommendations to management. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.~5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.~ Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.~ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting (MAcc).Exposure to SQL or data analysis tools. Demonstrated success driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
