We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer with strong expertise in high-speed hardware design, networking products, board bring-up, hardware validation, and failure analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing complex hardware systems involving high-speed SERDES, PCIe, DDR5, NVMe, networking interfaces, and complex power architectures.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop complex hardware solutions for networking and other high-performance products. Perform schematic design, component selection, hardware architecture, and design reviews. Work with high-speed interfaces including SERDES (>25G), PCIe Gen 5 and above, and associated protocols. Design and integrate low-speed interfaces such as SPI, I2C, MDIO, SMBus, and related management interfaces. Work with optical interfaces including QSFP, QSFP-DD, and OSFP. Design and validate DDR5 and SSD/NVMe PCIe-based interfaces. Develop and analyze complex power supply architectures for networking products. Use Cadence toolchain for schematic capture, PCB/CAD design, and related hardware development activities. Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, validation, and qualification. Conduct detailed hardware failure analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Develop and execute hardware validation and qualification plans based on functional specifications. Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and system engineering teams. Support prototype development, design verification, manufacturing, and production issues. Document design decisions, test results, failures, root causes, and corrective actions. Required Technical Skills 10–15 years of overall hardware engineering experience, with at least 8+ years designing complex hardware products, preferably networking systems. Strong hands-on experience in high-speed hardware design and failure analysis. Experience with High-Speed SERDES (>25G). Strong knowledge of PCIe Gen 5 or higher. Experience with low-speed interfaces: SPI I2C MDIO SMB/SMBus Experience with DDR5. Experience with SSD/NVMe and PCIe-based interfaces. Experience with optical interfaces such as: QSFP QSFP-DD OSFP Strong experience with complex power supply design and architecture. Hands-on experience with Cadence schematic/CAD tools. Experience with board bring-up and hardware validation. Strong troubleshooting and hardware failure analysis/root-cause analysis skills. Experience testing and qualifying networking products against functional specifications.
