About Apex Creative Apex Creative is a full-service digital marketing and creative agency. We help brands grow by bringing strategy, paid media, social, email, content, and creative together under one roof. We are a small, senior team, and we work closely across disciplines. That means everyone has visibility into the bigger picture, contributes ideas, and plays an important role in our clients' success. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who can own some of our larger, more important client relationships and become a true extension of their marketing team.
The Role:
This role sits at the center of the client relationship and our internal team. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals, help shape the marketing strategy, and coordinate with our paid media, creative, social, email, and web teams to ensure the work gets done well and on time. You will not personally run ads or design creative. But you should understand digital marketing well enough to ask the right questions, connect the dots across channels, spot opportunities, and keep the overall strategy moving forward. You will also own the day-to-day client relationship — running meetings, managing priorities, following up on commitments, and making sure both the client and our internal team always know what comes next.
What You’ll Do:
Manage relationships with a portfolio of key Apex clients.
Lead weekly client meetings, planning sessions, presentations, and performance reviews.
Help develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies across paid media, social, email, content, and web.
Translate client goals into clear priorities, campaigns, and action plans.
Coordinate our internal specialists and make sure projects stay on track.
Manage timelines, deliverables, approvals, and follow-ups.
Review performance across channels and help identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Bring ideas to clients proactively rather than simply managing requests.
Make sure we consistently deliver great work and a strong client experience.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in account management, digital marketing, or a similar client-facing role.
Strong working knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem, including paid media, social, email/CRM, websites, content, and conversion.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Confidence working directly with founders, executives, and senior marketing teams.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable looking at marketing performance and turning data into practical recommendations.
Strategic, but also very execution-oriented.
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-moving agency environment.
Good creative instincts and appreciation for strong branding and content.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
A Good Fit for ApexYou will probably enjoy this role if you like being close to both the strategy and the execution.
You can keep many moving pieces organized without losing sight of the bigger picture. You enjoy working with specialists, building strong client relationships, solving problems, and finding ways to improve the work.
Most importantly, you take ownership. You don't wait to be told what needs attention—you see it, communicate it, and help move it forward.
