- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair electric, gas & propane forklifts
- Test equipment after repairs
- Remove unsafe equipment from service
- Maintain forklift repair logs
- Manage forklift batteries and propane tanks Requirements: Requirements
- Forklift repair experience required
- Experience with Toyota, Hyster, Clark, Crown & Yale required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Able to use hand and power tools
- Able to read repair manuals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift mechanic training preferred Physical Requirements Able to kneel, lie down and access all areas of a forklift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to safely perform hands-on mechanical work
